COURSE DESCRIPTION

Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to identify and describe the major structural and functional characteristics of cells, tissues, and major organ systems of the human body.  Included will be skeletal, muscular, nervous, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, urinary, reproductive, lymphatic, and endocrine systems.
     Successful completion of this course (with a grade of “C” or better) will satisfy the Anatomy and Physiology requirement for the Associate Degree in Nursing.
